Trust & Privacy
How we look after your information
This page is maintained by the Seniors Lifestyle & Business Association (SLBA), the host of SilverTech Summit, to answer common privacy and security questions about this website. It describes practices we currently follow. It is not a certification or independent audit.
What this website collects
We collect information you choose to share with us through forms on this site - for example your name, email address, organization, and the message or interest you submit when you contact us, apply to speak, sponsor, exhibit, volunteer, or sign up for updates.
We use this information to reply to you, plan the Summit, and send you updates you have asked for. We do not sell your information.
Who can see your information
Form submissions are stored in our private database and are visible only to SLBA organizers and approved Summit staff who need them to follow up with you.
Access requires sign-in and is protected by row-level security rules so that visitors to this website cannot read other people's submissions.
How the website is protected
Traffic to this site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in, database access, and admin tools are protected by authentication and role-based permissions. Sensitive operations run on the server, not in the browser, so secret keys are never shipped to visitors.
We rely on our hosting and backend providers for underlying infrastructure security, including encryption at rest, network protection, and routine platform patching.
Email and updates
If you opt in to updates, we use your email only to send Summit news and information you requested. Every update includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage that are needed for the site to work (for example, keeping you signed in on admin pages). We may use basic analytics to understand which pages are visited so we can improve the Summit experience.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us through this website. To make a request, email us using the contact details below and tell us what you would like changed.
Contact us about privacy or security
